Reports on financial stability

The Financial Stability Committee reports to the German Bundestag about the financial stability situation and current trends on an annual basis, usually in June. Each year in November, the Deutsche Bundesbank presents its financial stability report, which analyses the resilience of the financial system and the risks to financial stability in Germany. The IMF published its Financial System Stability Assessment for Germany in June 2016. These assessments are compiled every five years as part of the IMF’s Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP). Germany’s financial system was given a good rating overall.

At the European level, the European Systemic Risk Board and the European Central Bank analyse the financial stability situation and regularly publish financial stability reports. The International Monetary Fund reports on global financial stability trends on a regular basis.
