Arriving by train and public transport
If you are arriving at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Central Station), take bus number M41 and get off at the Abgeordnetenhaus bus stop. The main entrance of the Federal Ministry of Finance, at Wilhelmstrasse 97, is around five minutes’ walk from the bus stop (via Niederkirchnerstrasse).
Alternatively, from Berlin Hauptbahnhof you can take the RE3, RE4 or RE5 regional train lines to the Potsdamer Platz station. It takes about five minutes to walk from the Potsdamer Platz station to the main entrance of the Federal Ministry of Finance at Wilhelmstrasse 97 (via Leipziger Strasse).
If you are arriving at the Berlin Ostbahnhof station, take the S-Bahn (light rail) to the Alexanderplatz station. You can take any of the following S-Bahn lines (heading west): S3, S7, S75. At the Alexanderplatz station, transfer to the U-Bahn (underground) line U2. Take the U2 in the direction of Ruhleben and get off at the Mohrenstrasse station. From there, it takes about 3–5 minutes to walk to the Federal Ministry of Finance on Wilhelmstrasse.
Arriving by plane and public transport
If you are arriving at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), take the regional train line RE7 in the direction of Dessau Hbf and get off at the Alexanderplatz station. At the Alexanderplatz station, transfer to the U-Bahn (underground) line U2 in the direction of Ruhleben and get off at the Mohrenstrasse station. Alternatively, you can take bus number 200 from the Alexanderplatz station and get off at the Leipziger Str./Wilhelmstr. bus stop. From either of these stops, it takes about 3 minutes to walk to the Federal Ministry of Finance on Wilhelmstrasse.
Alternatively, from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) you can take the train IC2272 / RE17 in the direction Berlin Hbf and get off at the Südkreuz station. Transfer to the regional train line RE5 in the direction of Gesundbrunnen and get off at the Potsdamer Platz station. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the Potsdamer Platz station to the main entrance of the Federal Ministry of Finance at Wilhelmstrasse 97 (via Leipziger Strasse).

By public transport
Stadtbahn (light rail): From Bonn Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U16 (towards Köln) or the U63 (towards Bonn-Tannenbusch) and get off at Propsthof-Nord. From there, it is a 9-minute walk to the Ministry (650 metres). Upon exiting the station, turn right at the lift, then walk straight ahead for 300 metres to the roundabout. Turn right into Siemensstraße, then go straight ahead to Václav-Havel-Platz 18.
S-Bahn line S23: The Bonn Endenich Nord stop is approximately 13 minutes from the Ministry on foot (1 kilometre). Walk along Auf dem Hügel, turn into Kolpingstraße, then follow Siemensstraße until you get to Václav-Havel-Platz 18.
Stadtbahn line 18: The nearest stop is Bonn Robert-Kirchhoff-Straße, from where the Ministry is is a 22-minute walk away (1.6 kilometres). Walk from the Robert-Kirchhoff-Straße stop to Hans-Sachs-Straße, follow the road and then turn left into Auf dem Hügel, turn left again into Kolpingstraße, then follow Siemensstraße until you get to Václav-Havel-Platz 18.
Bus: The following bus lines go from the main bus terminal at Bonn Central Station and stop near Václav-Havel-Platz: 601, 610, 611, 630, 631, 632, 633.
Access to the Ministry is via the reception desk at the main entrance.
