Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2020
Following Germany’s six-month Council Presidency, which finished at the end of 2020, it is clear that Europe has proved its worth in the face of the crisis and shown that it is capable of taking effective action.

The informal ECOFIN under Germany’s Council Presidency took place on 11 and 12 September 2020 in Berlin, where European finance ministers were received by Olaf Scholz, the Finance Minister of Germany.
